District Musical
Instructor: Mr. Wydra & Mrs. Kay   
The District Musical is open to students in grades 5 through 8. The performance dates of the 2011/2012 school year are Wednesday, May 16th at 7:30pm and Thursday, May 17th, with one matinee performance during the school day and one evening performance at 7:30pm. Our co-directors are Mr. Wydra and Mrs. Kay.

We are excited to announce that Roald Dahl's Willy Wonka Jr. is this year's district musical. Auditions will be sometime in February or March but if you'd like to look at the characters and songs go to http://www.broadwayjr.com/audition/auditionlist.asp?ID=000255  for more information.

District Musical Interest Meeting
Calling all actors!

If you’re interested in auditioning for the musical in the spring, come show us your talent so we can keep you in mind as we choose this year’s musical. Mr. Wydra and Mrs. Kay will be meeting with 5th-8th grade students interested in being in this year’s musical on Friday, November 18th from 3:20-5:00 pm in the Spring Avenue music room. There is NO BUS this year. Please make arrangements for a ride to and from Spring Avenue. We will play some theatre games and do some singing so we can get a feel for your talent before we choose the musical. This is not an audition but is a chance to meet the directors and to show us what you can do.

To sign up, please contact your school's secretary. Below under Files is where you can print the interest form. Please have this complete and bring it to the meeting.
